ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Primary School was named Primary School of the Year at the 2026 Trust and School Leadership Awards, run by the Network for Education Excellence (nEdEx).
The awards, held on Thursday 4 June in Milton Keynes, also saw Endeavour Learning Trust take home the Trust Leadership Team of the Year prize.
The double win caps a year of significant recognition for Endeavour Learning Trust, which operates 10 schools across Southport and Lancashire, including ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Primary School.
Jinnie Payne, Headteacher of ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï Primary School, said: “This award belongs to every member of staff, every child and every family who is part of the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï community.
“We work hard every single day to create a school where pupils feel safe, valued and inspired to learn, and to have that recognised on a national stage is incredibly humbling. I am so proud of what this team has achieved.”
David Clayton, CEO of Endeavour Learning Trust, said: “To win two awards in a single evening is a remarkable achievement, and I could not be prouder of everyone across the trust who made it possible.
“The Trust Leadership Team of the Year award is a reflection of the incredible colleagues I have around me every day, and the Primary School of the Year recognition for ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï is thoroughly deserved. Jinnie and her team have built something truly special.”
The nEdEx Trust and School Leadership Awards celebrate outstanding leadership and practice across the school and trust sector in England. Finalists are selected by an independent judging panel from a national pool of entries.
